The Settlement Price Changes Chart is proving very useful for us to explain to customers why their pricing is so different between two different quotes.
I'd love to be able to choose two trade dates and show on the chart (usually 'last trade date' vs [a particular date over the past year]). At the moment you can only select 'a week ago', 'a month ago' etc.
Any chance this could be added to the list of developments for the next upgrade?
One option is to create a dashboard with two or several instances of the same report, each with a different trade date, e.g. latest date, one week ago, one month ago, etc. Then when you view the dashboard, you'll see all instances of the report at once.
The other option is to use the forward price curves report to highlight price changes in forward contracts over time. Changing the series filter lets you select contracts related to specific time periods, for example, 2020 contracts or starting two quarters ahead from today a period of 12, 18, 24, 30 months. These are aggregate results, however, and not specific forward contracts like the settlement price changes report.
