Hi,
I am trying to understand the reports 'grid demand trends' and 'grid generation trends' relative to the dataset 'generation_md'.
Is the following the correct way of thinking of demand, generation at the GXP and generation behind the GXP (i.e. embedded generation).
- The difference between grid demand and grid generation is transmission losses.
- Grid generation is greater than generation_md - is the difference embedded generation? And so generation_md is net of embedded generation?
I am not sure that marries up given demand is not accounted for through the reconcilation process that is ultimately met thorugh embedded generation?
Thanks for your help.
