Load forecast and historical load data on GXP

I am wondering if we are able to get the historical load data or load forecast on GXP or even on region.

Hi Paul,

Historical load/demand data is available, although unfortunately, we don't have historical forecast data at this time.

You can get historical demand data from the Grid demand report or metered data.

The WITS system provides information on island level load forecasts.

The system operator (SO) provides information on the accuracy of historical forecasts.

If you are after longer-term forecasting, you can look at the SO hydro risk curves, annual security assessment, or MBIE's EDGES.
