I tried twice to create a job in vSPD just for a couple of days without any override and both times the job failed to solve. I also noticed that this has been the case for all recent attempts from other users. Is there any particular reason for that?

Yes, unfortunately when we upgraded to TLS1.3 (Transport Layer Security) on all of the underlying Azure storage accounts, we broke vSPD-online. It can no longer access the vSPD data files.
We meant to take the vSPD-online page down and post a notice on this forum advising users but we never got to it. We'll do that in the next few days. Hopefully we can get something up and running in its place soon that also works with the real-time pricing data files.

In that case I guess, assuming one has GAMS license, the vSPD is the only alternative right? Are there any instructions on how to use it available?
