Hi,

I noticed this dataset is missing 4 datapoints.

Date                            Interval Number
Sunday, 2 April 2023            7
Sunday, 2 April 2023            8
Sunday, 24 September 2023       47
Sunday, 24 September 2023       48

cheers

I haven't yet looked at the datasets you refer to but these dates look like daylight saving start/end dates to me. The first Sunday in April is when there are 50 trading periods in a day and the last Sunday in September is when there are 46.

Okay, I have just taken a look at the files you mention and everything is as it should be. To be clear, I am looking at reserve prices located here.

  • Sunday 2 April 2023 (file: 202304_FinalReservePrices.csv) contains 50 trading periods, including periods 7 and 8 - this is because daylight saving ended on 2 April 2023 and the day contained 25 hours.
  • Sunday 24 Sep 2023 (file: 202309_FinalReservePrices.csv) has 46 trading periods and excludes periods 47 and 48 - this is because daylight saving started on 24 Sep 2023 and the day contained 23 hours.

Cheers

Phil
