I would like to get a citable information of the capacity of North Island's hydroelectric and geothermal power plants. I found a bit outdated summary on wikipedia (see below), but I would like to use more up to date data.

I'm afraid the old spreadsheet that Mal pointed you to is about the best we can do at this point. Creating and publishing a database of generation fleet information that doesn't take a lot of time and effort to maintain is on our list of things to do - we just need to find the time.
